Dubai Marina, sometimes referred to as the
"Arabian Venice," gets its name from the large gulf that borders it.
This elite residential community in Dubai features a skyline made up of tall
towers, premium hotels, and a wide variety of dining establishments. Dubai
Marina, which only occupies four square kilometers, is one of the city's most
developed and populous neighborhoods, second only to Downtown Dubai, which is
only two square kilometers in size.
Nestled between Jebel Ali and Al Sufouh on
Dubai's western edge, Dubai Marina is made up of ten different areas. Jumeirah
Beach Residence is the most well-known of them all. Emaar Properties, a company
under government supervision, was responsible for the conception and
realization of this ambitious project.
